This is the first and second section of my animation that I am working on for my FMP. I have completed the animation, colouring and shading. I have completed the background and successfully done the transfer from the landscape at the beginning to the start of the animation in the way I intended. I really like how this came out, I am pleased with majority of my work in this first scene.
I created a list of the pros and cons of my first scene in my FMP.
Pros:
- Smooth animation.
- Shading.
- Background.
- Coloured.
- Colourful and Bright.
- Creative.
Cons:
- Both wolf and squirrel are bland colours and blend in with the background a bit too much.
- Grass appears at the exit of where the squirrel leaves and the wolf enters the scene.
- Wolf's fur brightens in one of the frames.
- Background zooms out a bit too fast when changing from squirrel to wolf.
- Grass flickers.
- Front view of wolf is jolty, and the eyes dimmer in colour strength through moving frames.
All the pros I have stated can be fixed through editing last details once I have completed the other scenes of my animation. Which I will do, but as for now I am very proud with my work.
